MP1900A series is an 8-slot modular, high-performance BERT supporting all-in-one Physical layer measurements of both high-speed network interfaces as NRZ and PAM4, and PCI Express/USB, bus interfaces.
To cope with increasing data traffic caused by the widespread popularity of smartphones and mobile terminals, data-center network interfaces are being transitioned to the faster 200 GbE/400 GbE/800 GbE standards, while communications-equipment interconnects are adopting PCI Express Gen5 supporting faster speeds of 32 Gbit/s; multi-channel technologies are also being deployed.
Anritsu’s Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A series is a high-performance BERT with 8 slots for modules, such as PPG, ED and Jitter/Noise Generator, to expand measurement applications supporting signal integrity analyses of ever-faster devices. In addition to Physical layer measurement functions for broadband network interfaces, the all-in-one MP1900A supports PCI Express bus, etc., interface measurements.

The Signal Quality AnalyzerR MP1900A is a modular Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT) supporting equipment external interfaces, such as nextgeneration Ethernet, by installing a pulse pattern generator (PPG) for outputting high-quality multi-channel NRZ/PAM4 signals over a wide bandwidth of 2.4 Gbit/s to 32.1 Gbit/s, a high-sensitivity input error detector (ED), Jitter modulation sources for Jitter Tolerance tests, etc. Additionally, optional noise generation and 10Tap Emphasis functions can be installed for Voltage Noise Tolerance tests, etc., and installingthe High-Speed Serial Data Test Software MX183000A software enables efficient design evaluation for increasingly faster PCIe, USB, and Thunderbolt receivers.
