Product Overview

FRANEO 800 was developed for testing the mechanical and electrical integrity of power transformers after transportation or exposure to high fault currents. It uses the sweep frequency response analysis (SFRA) principle and measures the electrical transfer function over a wide range of frequencies. With our FRANEO 800 you can improve your transformer reliability, reduce maintenance costs and prevent expensive failures.

Applications

FRANEO 800 can be used for transformer testing, after;

a short-circuit event

before and after transport

an occurrence of high transient fault currents

a significant change in the monitored values (for example, combustible gases) or a safety shutdown

Benefits
Reliable Execution	The integrated "Ground Loop Check" verifies the test setup and makes sure that the grounding braids are properly connected. It gives you a "pass/Fail" assessment and either allows or prevents you from continuing with your measurement.

Widest Dynamic Range	FRANEO 800 provides the widest dynamic range in the SFRA industry (> 150 dB). In combination with the variable output voltage (0.1 Vpp to 10 Vpp) the signal to noise ratio can be enhanced, and the influence of interference reduced.
Short Measurement Times	The implemented algorithms enable more precise measurement results in less time by firstly performing a broadband measurement and then focusing on the critical frequency areas.
