The high-performance Rohde & Schwarz FSW signal and spectrum analyzer was developed to meet demanding customer requirements. Offering low phase noise, wide analysis bandwidth and straightforward and intuitive operation, the analyzer makes measurements fast and easy.

The high-performance FSW signal and spectrum analyzer helps engineers accomplish the most demanding tasks. Its wide internal analysis bandwidth allows the characterization of wideband components and communications systems. Its unparalleled phase noise facilitates the development of high-performance oscillators such as those used in radars. A state-of-the-art multitouch display with gesture support ensures straightforward and intuitive operation. An embedded SCPI recorder enables easy creation of executable scripts.

The FSW offers up to 8.3 GHz analysis bandwidth for measuring wideband-modulated or frequency agile signals like those used in the new 5G New Radio standard or in automotive and pulsed radars.

Benefits
Superior RF Performance	The FSW redefines the top-of-the-line signal and spectrum analyzers, offering superior RF phase noise, displayed average noise level, intermodulation suppression and dynamic range for ACLR and harmonic measurements.
Advanced User Interface	12.1" high resolution, multitouch display with gesture support - flat design with Windows 10 look and feel. Various measurements can be displayed simultaneously in separate windows, which makes result interpretation easier. Embedded SCPI recorder simplifies code generation for automatic, remote controlled measurements.
Keep up-to-date in 5G Development	The FSW scalable, wide internal analysis bandwidth of up to 8.3 GHz allows you to capture the entire bandwidth of the downlink signal and evaluate the complete system. FSW-K144 and FSW-K145 options cover downlink and uplink in-band measurements of 3GPP 5G NR. Each signal subframe is analyzed and a wide range of measurement results are provided, including the EVM, frequency and power of different channels and signals.
Extensive Radar Analysis Functions	In addition to wide analysis bandwidth (up to 8.3 GHz), FSW analysis functions essential for radar testing. The FSW-K6 pulse measurement application measures all relevant pulse parameters at the touch of a key. The FSW-K6S time sidlobe measurement option measures pulse compression parameters. The FSW-K60/K60H option analyzes frequency hopping signals.
Automotive Radar Signal Analysis	The FSW85 signal and spectrum analyzer features a YIG preselector for frequencies between 8 GHz and 85 GHz, providing image-free spectrum analysis. The wide analysis bandwidth (up to 8.3 GHz) combined with the FSW-K60/-K60C transient analysis/chirp measurement option allows you to characterize up to 5 GHz wide FMCW signals such as those used in automotive radars.
Ideal for Satellite RF Testing	The FSW offers dedicated measurement applications for the most critical measurements such as group delay, linearity, gain transfer, noise power ratio (NRP), etc. It also demodulates satellite RF signals of several standards such as DVB-S2X and OneWeb. The FSW scalable, wide analysis bandwidth (up to 8.3 GHz) meets the increasing demand for wide signal bandwidths.
Real-Time Spectrum Analysis	The FSW real-time options allow users to reliably detect extremely short sproadic interference in the nanosecond range even in close proximity to powerful carriers - in bandwidth of up to 800 MHz. Real-time spectrum analysis enables users to analyze existing frequency hopping algorithms and create alternative ones to prevent collisions between signals of different standards operating in the same frequency band.
Powerful Vector Signal Analysis Application	The FSW-K70 vector signal analysis option enables users t flexibly analyze digitally modulated single carriers down to the bit level. The clearly structured operating concept simplifies measurements despite a wide range of analysis tools. The FSW-K70M allows analysis of signals with two different modulation schemes, such as DVB-S2X signals. The FSW-K70P extension measures the raw bit error rate (BER) on PRBS data up to PRBS23.
