250 kHz to 31.8 GHz PSG Vector Signal Generator


Enables the generation of benchmark vector modulated signals at
microwave carrier frequencies directly from the RF output port; direct I/Q
modulation up to 31.8 GHz; combined with built-in wideband I/Q modulator
that delivers up to 2 GHz RF modulation bandwidth and an advanced
wideband (80 MHz) internal baseband generator capable of flexible
arbitrary waveform playback and sophisticated real-time signal generation;


Features:
Frequency resolution 0.001 Hz; Output power -130 dBm to +14 dBm;
SSB phase noise (CW) at 20 kHz offset from carrier -134 dBc to -96 dBc
depending on carrier frequency; Flexible digital & analog modulation -
FSK, MSK, PSK, QAM, custom I/Q, AM, FM, PM, and pulse; Multiple
high rate sweep modes - step, list, & ramp sweep frequency and power;
Option 602 provides advanced internal baseband generator - arbitrary I/Q
waveform playback and real-time I/Q symbol generation with 80 MHz RF
modulation bandwidth; Backwards compatible with previous PSG signal
generators; Output impedance 50ohm; Connector types:
Precision 2.4 mm male; plus 2.4(f) - 2.4(f) mm and 2.4(f) - 2.9(f) mm adaptors

Option dependencies:
Option 601 or 602 is required for options:
3, 4, 5, 403, 408, 420, 421, SP1, H00, H01, H17, N7613A, N7620A/B,
N7622A. Options 3 and 4 require AT-N5102A and 601 or 602.

Option H00 has been replaced by the N7600B signal studio.

Option 5 can only be installed on units with serial numbers less
than US/MY4829xxxx. Not available for serial number
greater than US/MY4829xxxx or above.

Option 9 has replaced option 5. It can be installed on units with
serial numbers greater than US/MY4829xxxx or above.
Not available for earlier serial numbers.

Option 16 has replaced option 15. If can be installed on units with
serial numbers greater than US4722xxx via keycode.
Not available for earlier serial numbers.

Option UNW can be upgraded with hardware option UNW for serial numbers less
than 5042. For units with with Serial number greater than or equal to
5042 order 2NW keycode upgrade.

Signal Studio Fixed license part numbers:
