SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE (SO. CALIF) |
Description
The primary role of the Sales Support Rep (SSR) is to assist the Inside Sales Reps (ISR’s) with generating revenue. The SSR will assist and qualify controllable leads, and distribute these based on several criteria including revenue potential, territory assignment, product expertise, etc. Occasionally the SSR will manage the lead themselves through to order closure.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely with ISR’s to assist with quote follow-up
• Customer interaction on leads not assigned to ISR’s (via email and telephone)
• Qualification and distribution of controllable leads
Requirements:
• 2+ years related sales support experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of technical education and experience required
• Knowledgeable on current technology trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus accurate data entry
• Strong business acumen with a basic understanding of the type of services we provide (buy, rent, lease, etc.)
• Strong teamwork skills
• Fully competent with Microsoft Office Suite software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Internet search engines
• Must be well organized, with excellent follow-through skills
